what is university like?

In college it's all up to you. They don't care if you show up for class or complete projects. If you want a degree you have to earn it. The professors are there if you need them but they won't come looking for you if you show no interest. Anyway if you don't pass, they won't let you come back. It's a place where you will find your independence or crash and burn.

University --If you are going in University it means that you are going to be a professional. University is the last stage of your carrier of schooling and afterwards you can get job from the degree that you earned from the University.
High School -- is different than University bec. High School is a lot of fun and also tution is not high as in University's tution fee. You can meet a lot of friends in your High School days but in University only a a few bec. every subject you meet different students with different courses while High School, morning till afternoon still the same faces.

university is a place where u can better yourself....it is a higher education that highschool. where u can be a better person in life. university has a lot of hard work n dedication but in the end it will pay off

First of all, in high school your teachers care about you and your ability to succeed. In college, they don't care if you pass or fail. As long as you pay your tuition, that is all that matters. It is up to you to study, get help as you need it... the instructors wll not babysit you or hold your hand. They also do not put up with bul**it in the classroom, smart allects are singled out pretty quickly and they usually change or drop out. I liked college a whole lot better. Everyone is there to learn, they are usually focused on the same things, and they usually enjoy learning. You learn to think for yourself.

someplace where you go pick up on the opposite sex, or the same sex if you wish, drink till you run out of money, if you are into drugs than its easier to get drunks than alcohol sometimes, where you can learn whatever you want, go to class when you want, if you want to go at all. play games till classes starts the next day and you say screw it cuz you fall asleep in it anyways, you can find what intellectually stimulates you, not just random stupid stuff you have to learn, have classes Tuesday, wednesday, thursday, so you can have a 4 day wkend everyweek, you can do as much or as little as you want, and since you are away from home get enough tattoos to scare the living crap out of your mom

Way different...while in high school you run to get to the cafeteria line in first place... in college professor don't even know your name, they don't care whether you fail or pass the class... You can get in really into bad habits (drinking, partying and skippin' class)because there is no one to control you. College life is hard and sometimes overwhelming but if you focus your attention in your goals you should be fine.

univserity is whole diff ball park.. easy to lose focus and u end up at the univ forever not knowing what u want to do or drop out ...no matter what u do at the univ stay focused on ur course work....but enjoy the other things too....
in other words its like going from a village to the big city
