I'm not talking about religon. I have my own religous beliefs, but I dont need some religon to tell me that killing is wrong or stealing is wrong. Parents didnt want morals taught in school but they are not teaching them at home, so kids are growing up thinking there IS no right and wrong. We could teach kids morals that everyone could agree on, regardless of their religion or politics.

I have been in the workforce for approximately 11 years now. I’m currently enrolled in an online degree course (started a year ago), which is at my own pace. I am finding that procrastination is a big problem! I have kids and a family to take care of at home. Can anyone offer any “practical” tips on combating procrastination with my studies, which can help?

I have just started uni yest and im thinking of quitting.First of all my timetable is rubbish (2 days with 4 hours gaps, 2 days I have 2 come in for just a hour) I only leave about at 20 mins cars drive away buy i cant drive.So the bus takes 45-50mins 2 get there and once i get there i always have to wait 40min for my lessons to start and then when the lessons end I always have to wait 50 mins for the bus back home because it goes at 20min past the hour and all my lessons finish at hald past the hour. Secondly I dont think I will be able to do the work, all the lecturers tell you to do is buy this book and read it and print you assignment off the internet and do it. Im paying all this money and they arent even teaching us. And i only have 12 hours off lessons a week. And they dont give us much help as college. What do you think?

I'm not graduated student yet! But I'm working for my University to get some freedom from my parents. But at my work everyone tries to force me to do the most durty jobs! I have to be even a porter! I decided that I wanted to change my major to English or Liberal Studies. The thing is, at this time I believe that I want to teach junior high English, but I don't know if that'll change. I'd like to be able to teach English with the possibility of going into primary education if I change my mind. So, do I major in English with a minor in Liberal Studies, major in Liberal Studies with a minor in English, or just pick one and stick with it? I'm worried if I minior in English, it won't be enough to get me a job teaching English, and the same goes for minoring in Liberal Studies. Anybody know anything on this subject? I'm in California, if that makes any difference.

I want to become a tattoo artist, and not because of shows like Miami Ink. I have a couple tattoo's from some different artists. The last artist I went to was really good. I asked him if anyone had apprenticed under him, and he repiled yes, and that he charged him like 8,000 dollars. This seems a bit too much. I do understand that they are training you for a career, but I've people not charging for an apprenticeship. Is this true or not and what could sway a person to not charge for an apprenticeship?

I currently go to a very good liberal arts college and am studying to get my BA with a double major in mathematics and molecular biology. I am thinking of transferring to one of the top math/science schools in the nation.
