I have been in the workforce for approximately 11 years now. I’m currently enrolled in an online degree course (started a year ago), which is at my own pace. I am finding that procrastination is a big problem! I have kids and a family to take care of at home. Can anyone offer any “practical” tips on combating procrastination with my studies, which can help?

Take two minutes to write a heading for your assignment. That is not a big job to do! Every time you have two or five minutes to spare return to the assignment and write at least one or two sentences. Within twenty four hours you will have added at least two pages to the heading. Most importantly you would have shed the lame excuse of not finding time to study or do assignment. All successful people have one common characteristic;they like to to do what they don;t like or find time to do.

set a reward for completion, then dedicate a time that is yours, and demand help from family and kids. goals and rewards go together. they get a reward for allowing you the time you need too.
