Is there too much homework in schools?

Research has definitely shown that too much homework, especially among younger kids(elementary and middle school), causes little to no difference in the amount of waht they learn on average.

Teachers are giving more homework because they supposedly whant to "reinforce" what they learn and are basing this on an outdated idea called behaviourism.

School Uniforms?

Do you think public schools should have their students wear uniforms? first of all i am a high school student and not a teacher or anything like that. i thought uniforms looked alright. it might be fun to see what it would be like to wear one all the time? and i am not talking about the dorky ones the schools pick out, i mean that students should get to pick and or design their own school uniforms! It would be soooo easy to get dressed in the morning and parents wouldn't have to take their kids shopping as much. (don't get me wrong i luv to shop) my mom hates it though?Any input? and i want everybody to answer. teachers, students, parents, etc. and specify which one you are.

Write replying. Write the rule that explains how to add ing to words like reply.

ok so my schedule was messed up right and so i went to get it fixed but i kinda pissed off the guidance person cuz i was with him for awhile cuz i couldnt make up my mind
ok so my schedule is already fixed but i wanna drop a course and take another one but i dont know yet..cuz i wanna take a class in 3rd period and drop my course in 2nd period

so i can have first and second period off so i dont have to come to school so early and i can sleep in...and during third period thats when i have lunch so i want to drop my 2nd period which is art ( i dont really need it) and take a class during 3rd but then id have to ask him what courses i can take but ive done that already and he got pissed off cuz i couldnt make up my mind

so what would be a good excuse for me to use????

What professions use MSDS sheets?

I have to answer this tomorrow for school. So I was wondering what other professions, besides scientists use, or need to be familar with MSDS sheets?

I know the obvious, such as teachers, especially teaching science related classes, as well as nurses and doctors, but I was looking for something that the usual high school junior/senior wouldn't think of. Being that I'm a sophmore in a senior class, I could use the brownie points.
