I have to answer this tomorrow for school. So I was wondering what other professions, besides scientists use, or need to be familar with MSDS sheets?

I know the obvious, such as teachers, especially teaching science related classes, as well as nurses and doctors, but I was looking for something that the usual high school junior/senior wouldn't think of. Being that I'm a sophmore in a senior class, I could use the brownie points.

Very good question. Remember to think outside the box.
I have attached a link to the OSH Act of 1970. Read it and you will be way beyond anyone in your class in understanding the who, what, when, why, and how of your question. I have used MSDS's in every occupation I have been in. The military, nursing, computer component manufacturing, post office, construction, medical supply manufacturing, and even fast food. Remember every business has cleaning materials and therefore under federal law must have MSDS to accompany each of those chemicals and compounds.

We had to know the MSDS forward & back when I was a product engineer for Heinz. We made ketchup & pickles, and some of the preservatives were lethal in large doses. Purina techs need to use their's too because inhaling bone dust can be toxic.
