{a(x-2)^2, if x > 1.
a. Find an equation relating a & b if f is to be continuous at x=1.
b. Find b if a = -1. Show by graphing that f is continuous at x=1 for these values of a & b.
c. Pick another value of a & find b. Show that f is continuous for these values of a & b.

Plz show me how 2 do this problem...I have no clue!...& please tell me how to graph it on the graphing calculator as well.

ok, i've completed my 12th grade in the arts stream with 91% marks. i want to work in an advertising agency in the creative department, preferably abroad (i live in india). which country offers the best scope for advertising and which company? i want to do my graduation in india. i would like to know which is the best college in india for taking up advertising later. What is the stream that i have to opt for?
p.s - my aptitude towards the english language and advertising is very high.

If a is the first term, then 2a is the common difference between successive terms, so the sum of the first six terms is

a + (a + 2a) + (a + 4a) + (a + 6a) + (a + 8a) + (a + 10a) = 36a

which also equals a2, so a = 36 is the first term.
