i made a cover for mine to fit, out of cheap $1.00/yard fabric from walmart, i put some velcro tabs on it so when we watch a dvd or a vhs, we just un do the tabs, roll up the front and secure it, when we are done, we use a swiffer duster on the screen and unroll and secure the tabs again.
i know it sounds like a lot to go thru, but im not about to let any dust mess up our new 62" tv.

Well first you have to teach the dust to read then put a sign on the tv saying " No Dust Allowed."

Get yourself an air filter. I also tend to to use the soft brush attachment on my vacuum cleaner to suck the dust of the TV, rather than just disturbing it with a duster. That way, the dust is removed from the room.

If you mix some fabric conditioner with some water, wet a cloth and ring it out so it so nearly dry. It gets rid of the static that attracts the dust. I have tried it, it works and smells nice.

Vacuuming is better than dusting, as it sucks the dust away instead of knocking it into the ventilation slits. Otherwise, use Swiffers, as they electrostatically attract dust.

Use a dryer sheet. It can be a cheap one, it doesn't matter. Just make sure it's one that says "prevents static cling". It keeps dust and stuff from sticking. I don't know how it works, but it does. And it doesn't leave that streaky stuff on your screen.
Good luck!

Dr. Phil might like to try getting off his back-side and wipe his TV with an anti-static cleaner. (Except he probably thinks an anti-static cleaner is his wife). She obviously doesn't get time to gather dust.

I agree with dusting with dryer sheets and using an air purifier.
