not just in school but when they have lessons on computers and any other place, all they teach is spanish, portuguese, french and other european languages. there's nothing wrong with that but it wouldn't hurt to have some kiswahili or other african languages around too. there are people who are interested no matter how rare people speak those languages. i'm taking up spanish this year which i've wanted to take for some while but i would love to have learned a language that comes from Africa as well.

It seems like a really easy problem but I've been trying to get it for fifteen minutes and can't.

Basically, there's a fare for a boat trip. It's $39 for adults, $19 for children, and $5 for infants. There were 49 passengers who paid a total fare of $1475. There were also twice as many adult passengers as children. The question is how many infants were there?

(Btw, you're only supposed to use one variable)

My teacher said something crazy about purposely making impossible problems just for us to grow confident in our solving skills but this is ludicrous. Is this problem even possible?

I am going to be attending a state university this spring and I did not fill out my FAFSA for the 2006-2007 school year. I am 21, have no credit and I don't know anyone that does have good credit to co-sign on a student loan for me. Are there any other options for me or am I going to be eating the bill this year?

i'm a sophomore and i just started school and i love my schedule for school (i love school period) but i have all honors class except for the two electives i chose which was spanish and chorus. i think this school year is going to be a lot easier for me than last year because now i'm more prepared and more dedicated to my work.
