This is what I did for my daughter....step by step....First get the name list of the top 50 Universities in the USA from the American Embassy. Start searching on the locations and contact address. Then contact them and buy their brochure & application form. It is better to have the real brochures so that we can compare them. Study them carefully for what they required then apply. Give them your contact address & telephone numbers as they will interview you by phone. My daughter get the enrollment at University of Detroit Mercy for her two Masters Degrees. Good luck to you.

I would go to a United States Information Center near you and consult University catologues, and write to those which have a special interest in your field of study. When you apply to a few, they will expect you not only to submit your educational records to date but also to have taken the Graduate Entrance Exams, which includes a verbal and a mathematical portion as well as a specialized exam in the field you propose to study. Sample papers may be available in the Information Center.Once you gain admission, you will generally take two years of courses ( four a semester, 16 in all) and complete a thesis based on a research project which may well emerge from one of the 16 courses. Some universities but not all require a Master's Comprehensive exam as well. Once you are in the United States you can explore the possibility of part-time work to support yourself. Some manage to get a scholarship in the first year but this is more likely in the second, after the department has assessed your work. The whole process of applying and being accepted may take a year, so that it is a good idea to start as soon as you can. You will need a visa from the U.S. Consulate after you have secured admission and you need to show that you have the money to support yourself. This process too takes time. You can probably complete a good deal of the information-gathering online.
