Whatever lifestyle you aspire to. For all intents and purposes it is the same as a hiugh school diploma. It represents demonstrated knowledge enough to complete high school. You can go to college, and you can get jobs where a college degree is not required. Education in and of itself is not the mark of how successful you will be in life, it is a merely a tool to assist you in achieving your ultimate goals.

A GED is the equivalent to a high school diploma, many jobs require a high school diploma.
One or the other is also needed to go to college.

get into community college and them transfer to 4 year accredited college
