i'm a high school senior with an average of 92, class rank 3 out of 31, i don't take physics or precalcau. i take one honor class and one college course, my sat score in junior year is 1710, i have biomedical internship and a bit of volutter experience, and in school i played basketball for two years. the colleges that i want to apply, are brown university, tufts university, nyu, university of rochester, stony brook, boston university, and suny binghamton. for each college, can you give a 1-10 of my chance to get in or suitability. thanks a bunch.

Hello, everyone as you see I am so desperate for help. Well I just need a couple of ideas, for an essay that I have to do.
It has to do with the 9/11 attack, so I would like to know any ideas of what I could put as an introduction. I am lesbian and I have tried a lot of things to change it. I have given up because repararitive therapy was a total scam. I now accept and am now proud of my sexual orientation but the kids in my school seemm to have a problem being nice to me. Every time I walk into class I here people whispering "eww she's gay" "she's lesbian therefore she totally likes me(99% of people who say this are so flipping ugly and have such a sucky personality I would never like them)". People have called me an unnatural freak to my face. I have to eat lunch standing up because no one will let me sit down at their table. I have been punched, had my hair pulled and been pushed. How can I get the kids at my school to leave me alone?

My niece is 5 and in first grade. She already can read at a third grade level, as well as do addition and subtraction. She's unusually bright, but emotionally she's a normal 5 year old. In school she gets bored and talks out, and tell the teacher, "This work is too easy." She interrupts the class, makes faces, and so on. Time-outs don't have any affect on her; in fact she says she prefers them.

She went to a private kindergarten where she was in a small class and got a lot of attention. Now, in her first week in a private school, the teacher is exasperated and the mother is very upset. I suggested positive reinforcement -- rewarding good behavior, how is this done?

Please help if you have any experience with this. My sister (the mother) is afraid he daughter is never going to be able to rise above the bad first impression. She wants to meet with the teacher... what should she say?

p.s. The girl is already young for her grade, so advancing her to 2nd grade isn't an option.
