I read this poem over 45 years ago. It goes like this: John Dillinger was convicted and sent up for life, he sat down one day and sharpened his knife, being a man whom everybody feared, he finished his wooden pistol just as the jailer appeared. He said stick em up, the jailer's face grew pale, he took the keys and walked out of the crown point jail. He looked back toward the cell room door and said come on boys if you want to go.
