I am well educated, and there is nothing that irks me more than bad grammar. I am also from the South (I no longer live there), so when I go home I am always frustrated by the way most of the "clan" talks. I'm not a twit for believing in speaking the Queen's language properly.
I have found that in the South, grammar is not based solely on how much education you have...it is based on the fact that you are either an over- or under-achiever.

No. Everyone does it at some point in time. I refuse to believe each and every one of those making mistakes is a twit.
Besides, I know a chem and math whiz who can't spell or punctuate correctly. She's definitely not a twit.

No. I do tend to find that the worse grammar is the less educated an individual is. I don't fault people for their education levels though..it's their attitudes that define people as twits to me.

Not twits just people who didn't understand it the first time
at school. With all the Rap going on and the slang
being used on t.v. it is no wonder our society sounds ignorant.

I absolutely do. It seems like, after you spend 12 years of your life learning English in school, most people would have a hang of it.
Also, hermom up there pretty much proves my theory that the only people who get mad about people complaining about grammar are the people who don't understand it in the first place.

hmmm after analyzing your sentence, I believe you committed something to make you a twit. You don't use grammar, you speak or write with incorrect grammar, your sentence is clumsy and should be reconstructed.

Not nessarly "twits" but perhaps uneducated, or maybe they are in such a hurry that they don't bother to check how they have spelled their words.

Sometimes it is confusing to read a question for a proper answer. If English is not a questioner's first language I wish they would put a note saying so.
