OK, I'm a junior in high school taking the Fresno ROP (Regional Occupational Program) class, careers in education because it will help me on my way to be a teacher. My latest assignment is to interview people in the education business, can I IM some teacher to interview them? It's only 5 questions.

I am applying for college and I was wondering if someone could possibly help me? I am really bad at grammar and English and I had to state the reason why I was applying to the specific college and I did. I was just wondering if someone could tell me what I needed to fix, it is just a real short paragragh. Thank you so much if you can help, I really appreciate it. I can't get a hold of anyone who can do it for me.


Thiel College is not only the perfectly sized college for my needs, it is also a private Liberal Arts college, which is exactly what I am looking for. The college fits my academic necessities, such as its defined chemistry program, wireless campus, and the opportunity to buy inexpensive books. I was also very impressed by the friendly atmosphere I encountered during my visit to Thiel, and the college itself was very well taken care of, to say the least. All in all, Thiel was a wonderful experience and is a college that I will be looking into further.

I'm 32, married, have 3 children. I've been a stay at home mom for 13 yrs, I'm going back to school, in community college now, I don't qualify for a pell grant because my husband makes too much money, but we can't afford tuition either. I have 1 year of community college left, then 2 yrs at a university, I'm going inot education, are there any other grants out there I may have missed out on???

Today I got a call from my district office and I was offered a long term substitute positon at a charter high school. I will be teaching ninth grade algebra and geometry.
Last year I had a bad experience with a long term for seventh and eighth grade science.

I think this will be better since I'm starting the school year and these kids actually want to be there.

What would you suggest? Any tips from any teachers or long term substitutes.

Is it a good academic school? or is it more like a safety school?
I'm planning on going there but dont have many opinons about it besides what i can read off of their website, and who knows what is true.

Also, dose it have a good science program?

Would it be a school that people(employers) wouldnt be impressed with at all?

I've been considering becoming a Psychologist and an English professor, and haven't really decided which one yet. I'm not sure, but I think that both of them require Ph.d's, and the college I'm considering only offers Bachelor's degrees. The closest major I've found is in Liberal Arts.
