I want to know the difference between College Graduate and College Post graduate. Does having a Masters Degree in Sciences mean that someone is a college post graduate?Thanks

I have a substitute teaching position that is going to become a full time high school math teacher.

Do you other teachers ever go to a bar and have a drink. (not get drunk!!) and maybe have a cigar? I do about once every couple of weeks.

I know being a teacher means to set a good example. I don't purposely go out and smoke and drink in front of young kids.

How is this factor now days? What I am doing is perfectly legal. Not having more than one drink and smoking is legal. Even in public

Do any of you other teachers drink or smoke once in a while?

I've been feeling pretty numb to the whole leaving for college thing. Until I started packing my clothes. I finished and looked at my overflowing suitcase and kinda tripped out for a second. Well since it finally hit me ... I think the "tripping" will continue ... So my question ... how did you feel when you first left for college. What did you find out/learn when you got there?

P.S. I leave Thursday (I am writing this at 8:26 on Tuesday night)

Today my 9 year old daughter was told by her fourth grade teacher ( public school ) that if she did'nt write in cursive it would affect her final grades. We live in Puerto Rico where the same laws apply in the same manner and to the same extent as throughout the United States. Before I talk to her I would like to know.... Is there some law for this ? Or is it just that this teacher wants her students to write this way because she thinks it looks better ?
