The work to this is: 2x - 15 = 45
+15 = +15

The answer is 30. But just so you know how to do it this is how you do it.
2x - 15 = 45
+ 15 = + 15
2x = 60
/2 = /2 (/ = divided by)
x = 30
You do the opposite operation until you get the x on its own. If its something like 3x + 15 you would subtract it from the other side, and for 2x you divide each side by two. There probably is a better way of explaining it, but I'm just good at math, not explaining it.

Add 15 to both sides. 2x-15+15=2x; 45 + 15 = 60
Divide both sides by 2. 2x/2= x; 60/2 = 30.
X = 30.

30. Add 15 to both sides of the equation, making 2x=60. Then divide both sides by 2 and get x=30.

! shows factorial, the place you multiply a variety by way of each and each integer decrease than it. a million! = a million 2! = a million • 2 3! = a million • 2 • 3 for this reason, 10! = 10 • 9 • 8 • 7 • 6 • 5 • 4 • 3 • 2 • a million = 3,628,800

you want to get the variable on one side, and the numbers on the other. so in order for one side to be only variables, add 15 to both sides.
2x=60
divide by 2 on both sides
x=30
