do you agree with the Democratic Republicans that the Alien & Sendition Acts were a violationof the 1st Amendment? Were they necesarry? Support your opinion with evidence from the evidence off 1789 or from the text Chapter 2 only (American history) section 4

Yes, I do agree with the Democratic Republicans because it banned the immigrants to speak in public and it also took away their right to leave the country.

Sorry, I can't prove my answer because I'm pretty sure when I was in school I didn't use the same school books that you are using.
