Growing up, I learned English at school and spoke Spanish at home. In High School, my parents forced my to take Spanish. I did not no why since I spoke it fine but I am glad now. I can read and write in both languages. But now I have a dilemma, should I enroll my son in a Bilingual program so he can learn both languages from the start? Would it affect him negatively or positively?

I'm long past the homework phase in my life, and I try to help in the homework section as much as possible; however, it bothers me that people post answers like "Do Your Own Work!" and "Look it Up on the Web" or "You'll never get ahead unless you do your own work."
They do not know the asker, their situation, knowledge base, or intelligence. Who are they to judge?

I think that finding a way to get it done correctly teaches more resourceful ness, than just trying and getting it wrong. I can't go to my boss and say, oh I didn't want to ask for help, so I just did it wrong. Stop judging, and stay out of the category if you don't agree with the concept.

I want to go to college. The problem is this, I've been out of school now for 2 years, I just baught a new car, I'm saving for downpayment on a home, and I plan on paying off all of my debt in a few months. I can do all this, but I also really want to go to school to get a major in Pharmacy, which would be very expensive. I am kind of familiar with how to sign up for government grant money, but I'm not sure how much money they usually give. Has anyone here use a grant to pay for their education? and how much did they give you?
