What's the best college in California?

Stanford, Cal Tech, and Berkeley are all very highly rated. Berkeley is probably best for graduate school -- Stanford for undergraduate.

It really depends on the student and his or her major because different colleges offer different courses.

well, i think Cal State Fullerton is a good school but then again, i'm too poor to go anywhere else

If it were me, I'd go to Stanford or USC.
