This question is not to say that it is acceptable to wear "club gear" to teach but more if you think teachers should wear "professional clothing" (i.e., males wear ties, females wear skirts and dress pants). Does a teacher's dress affect student learning? Basically, if a teacher wears jeans and sneakers, is that sending a poor message?

i know it's a strange question...it's just that i saw this show on the discovery channel, and there were a couple of shots of sharks writhing about out of the water. i had never seen it before, and it looked as if there was a rope attatched to the bait the shark was eating. soooo i wasn't sure what was going on...i just knew i would NOT want to be in that shark's way =)

taken me 3 days to solve it.see how long you take..
Tom was asked to take a parcel to a certain towns post office ..we ncall this town X
tom was told to take a certain road but the road eventualy split in to two like a Y juntion..Tom was also told when he reaches the Y juntion there is a house by the side of the road
where he can ask for directions to town X he was also told. in this house lived 2 brothers one brother always told the truth and the other brother always lies ..
so Tom on his way to town X he came to road juntion where the road split in to 2 like Y because Tom diden't know which road leads to town X .. he knocks on the door of the house ..and one of the brothers answers the door..now Tom dosen't know which brother is at the door ..the one who always lies or the one who always tells the truth ...Tom can only ask one question to the brother and he will know which road leads to town X .....
JUST ONE QUESTION ..it's not a trick question there is a answer

I am fully certified to teach in two states. In one state, I worked in a Catholic school teaching 7th/8th grades and for a charter school as a Resource Specialist. For the last 4 years there, I worked as a substitute teacher, but was unable to hire on as a permanent teacher. Because of the limited opportunities, I moved from that state to another. I came mid-year, passed all state required tests, passed the background checks, and worked here as a substitute teacher at all grade levels.
My name was submitted by a principal for a 5th grade at his school. During the interview at the district level, one person (who has the yes or no approval) stated repeatedly she was concerned about my lack of "actual" teaching experience. Nothing I said could sway her. Another troubling aspect is they are willing to hire recent graduates with only Student Teaching experience.
I am male, 48 years old, completed teacher training, graduated with honors, and this is a second career.
Any opinions/advice
