A bank customer wants to open a bank account. She wants to know what her interest will be over a certain time period. Her principal that she deposits is $2,000 and the banks interest rate is 5 %. Using the formula i = prt, - you can tell her. How much interest will sher make in 5 years?

The area of a trapezoid can be found using the formula 1 over 2 ( B+b )h. You are the chief engineer at a company that builds trapezoidally shaped pools. You need to create a pool cover that will cover this shape pool. You know that the (B) Base equals 5 ' and the (b) base equals 10 ' . The ( h ) height from the base to base equals 12 ' . How much area do you need to cover??

There is an educational movement to lower educational standards so the self-esteam of some students wont be hurt when they cant keep up, fail, etc. Personaly I think lowering standards will ultimatly hurt sociaty as a whole, children will become misinformed about their true mental or physical strenths and this could hurt them in the real world and hurt sociaty itself as more mistakes are made. You can pretty much see where my opinion is heading on this. But whats your opinion on lowering standards? Why and why not do they need to be lowered?

Please do not give me opinions only. I am putting my resume together and want to include my major GPA. My question is that I failed an archaeology class (I am a classics major), which could have counted towards my major, but I satisfied all requirements with 30 credit hours from other classes. Technically, this class is not contributing to my major, but I want to be completely accurate and honest in reporting my major GPA. I emailed my advisor and have not gotten a response so I am wondering if there are any college professors/advisors/faculty out there that can help me.

I move a lot changing schools, house, countries and stop studying after 2nd year high school. I missed school for 2 years and now just doing my 3rd year in LHA home school. I'm not that motivated and do a little a week. As now i'm 16 and my friends are in college and me moving slowly with limited school funds. I would potentially finish next year august when i'm 17. I feel frustrated with lack of interactions and haven't experienced prom. I feel like i'm drowned in my studies when everyone is moving on. But i learned a bit about life while home schooling, still it feels like everyday is in a loop. How can i be happy?

When I get back at school I want to be treated decently. I have broke the problem into this: rumors->bullies->lack of friends->bullies->rumors->and the cycle goes on. the root of the problem is rumors. Can anyone give me some advice on stopping rumors?
