In terms of academic rankings, here's the definitive list.
1) Oberlin
2) Kenyon
3) Case Western
4) Miami
But in all honesty, it depends on your field of interest. For example, if you want to major in engineering or business, Kenyon and Oberlin are not options for you, but Case Western and Miami are excellent choices. Conversely, if you plan to study something in the liberal arts, Oberlin and Kenyon are by far your best choices.
Bad schools? Again, it depends on the student's goals. A "bad" school is a school that does not meet a particular student's needs. College is about finding the right "fit" for you.

Case Western Reserve University is like an Ivy League School- only in the Midwest. It is a great university (expensive, though)
As for the rest, it depends on your course of study-
Engineering, Accounting and Polymer Science- The University of Akron
Art- Cleveland Institute of Art
Pharmacology- University of Toledo
Journalism- Miami University
Ohio University
Nursing- The Ohio State University
English/Liberal Arts- Ohio University
John Carroll (private)
I have mostly listed state universities, though.
