I've heard this rumor a couple times but have never really been to a bar myself so I was curious. I'm 20-living in Ohio (I know some states are different in their laws). I've heard that as long as someone over 21 buys you a drink then technically you can drink it. Sounds kind of bogus to me, although I know there's something about being with your parents and them buying you a drink.

Thanks. :]

The cuban sandwich originated there. I live somewhat close to Tampa and I'll probably be driving up that way soon, and I'd like to try a pressed cuban from the birthplace of the sandwich.

I had the unfortunate experience of being duped after listening to the catchy radio commericals...

Here is what we got for $100 for two people at dinner.

Non-descript atmosphere...
Bland food...
OK service...

I would suggest Denny's as a viable alternative for about $40 in comparison to a "special" evening at Outback. It's obvious the other $60 went to some off-shore account to the marketing people who "sell" such a lousy product.

WORD.

The last TWO times I went there, there was a peice of plastic in the dish. It looked kinda like a twisty tie. I talked to a friend of mine and she also has found that same item in her food at the Olive Garden. Anyone else?

I want a really juicy steak, but not too tough. I usually order it Medium Rare, but it's been coming back a little too tough. How should I order it? Should I just ask for it to not be too tough?

I have worked for both companies. I am currently working at Perkins. I have found that both companies have equally good food quality. But Perkins seems to have more experienced staff and a more organized way of doing things. I just wanted to get other people's opinion.

You know all the "chain" ones....applebees, lone star, olive garden, panda buffet....texas roadhouse, red lobster.....get the drift? I myself prefer locally owned restaurants, no chain brands...seems like the chain brands are becoming about as quality conscious as fast food places.....
