I had the unfortunate experience of being duped after listening to the catchy radio commericals...
Here is what we got for $100 for two people at dinner.
Non-descript atmosphere...
Bland food...
OK service...
I would suggest Denny's as a viable alternative for about $40 in comparison to a "special" evening at Outback. It's obvious the other $60 went to some off-shore account to the marketing people who "sell" such a lousy product.
WORD.

Yes, yes, the fries at Mc Donalds are also VERY good...but the REST of the food sucks.

My Outback experiences are hit and miss. One evening, I took my fiance there for her bday and it was absolutely horrible. It wasn't even that busy, yet we waited 45 minutes for our food (while other people that came after us were receiving theirs). In addition, the waitress never stopped by to refill our drinks. I ended up pulling the manager aside and giving him an ear full. However, the few other times that I've been to Outback have been a good experience. It's all about the Alice Springs Chicken (hold the mushrooms)!

VERY STRANGE. My wife and I eat at Outback every once in a while, and we have NEVER paid $100.00 for a meal. Every time we have eaten there the service has been very good, the steaks were cooked to order and tasted great, and the atmosphere was noisy (usually because they have ESPN on) but was otherwise OK. I think the most our bill ever came to was about $75.00, and that was with drinks and my wife ordered crab legs in addition to her filet mignon. Something screwy going on here, methinks...

yeah dude outback is bogus.
I went there only one time and odered a steak. The steak was like $15 and was about the size of my palm and came with some mashed potatoes. I could have just gone to the grocery store and got some better crap than that.

I don't like outback. Here in Dallas theres a place called Texas Land and Cattle Co. It is high, $40-$50 for 2 no liquor, but it is great. Monday nites its all you can eat smoked sirloin for $15.00.

I agree but you forgot to mention the uncomfortable benches. I sat through dinner with my handbag behind my back for support.
My steak was extremely spicy and I didn't ask for spicy.
I never went back a 2nd time.

They're not offshore;-{ despite the name.
They're based in Tampa Florida.
