I just got back from a quick stop at Wendy's and am VERY disappointed! All we did was ask for ketchup and you would have thought that the employee was going to have to make it from scratch. She sighed and shrugged and basically threw a fit to give us 3 packets of ketchup. When we asked for a couple more, you would have thought the world was coming to an end. This is not the 1st time it has happened. When did Wendy's become too busy to actually help the customers and give them what they came for? Has anyone had similar experiences? If so, how did you deal with them?

I have contacted the Wendy's that I visited and told them of the situation, but because this isn't the first time, I am also contacting Corporate. I don't think it's too much to ask for to be treated kindly at a place I am spending my money.

I dont think thats right why shouldnt he have to pay? i wouldnt even want that kind of person to come back especially with no tip!!!. guess he just wanted a free meal and hes just a real jerk

Ok so I am trying to loss weight and lots of it and I have lost a few pounds already by just trying to eat when I'm hungry and only when I'm hungry. I had a slice of pizza tonight for dinner around 6 o'clock and I am not hungry. I am very proud of myself for only having one when I usially have like 3 big slices. But anyways there are lots of left overs and I really just want to eat a little because it really good pizza and I want some more than ever! So my question is how do I stop myself from going and nibbling on that pizza. Thanks and please hurry I need answers fast!

the other thing that many people alwasy seem to disregard about pizza delivery is that it is NOT a low risk job. these drivers risk their lives every time they get into that car. accidents, robberies, etc. are all PART of that job. again, NOT a low risk occupation. this NEEDS to me considered when giving out a tip. aside from the fact that it is delivered RIGHT to your front door, the price of gas, wear and tear on the vhicles(paid for by the drivers, NOT the companies),the insurance, etc., ppl should always tip a driver well....period....pizza delivery is a HAZARDOUS job. ppl should have consideration for that ....it's an insult to stiff a guy or even give him a $1 or less. he risks his or her life to bring you your dinner. unlike a waiter/waitress who has to walk all of 20 or 30 feet to give you your food,a driver has to drive all over god's creation and back. it doesn't matter if it's a 7.99 order or a $79 order, ppl should give that guy at least $3 or $4 every time......

First and foremost, this is not meant to be a racist comment or anything among the nature...

I have worked in the restaurant business for a good amount of time and over the years, I notice more and more that african americans do not tip, or tip very poorly. Why is this?

I look after sick people all day at the hospital cleaning private parts, yack, spit, and anything else between. I have patients hit me, call me names, and on occasion they bite me...to top it off, I have to do it with a smile and ask if there's anything else I can help them with...and Do I GET A TIP??? NOOO...its my job!!! When did you guys ever tip your mom's nursing aide, PT aide, dental assistant, LVN, CNA, RN, xray tech?

Who ever said we HAVE to tip the waiter/waitress/pizza guy??? Its their job to serve us! If the service sucks do we get a free meal? NOOOO!! The only people I will tip are maids in the hotels, cooks, laundrymat personnel, and janitors because they are greatly unappreciated and they're probably supporting a family of 4-6. But for waiters/waitresses/pizza guys to expect a tip, its just crazy...NOW don't get me wrong, if the service is exceptional...I will tip...but to stand there and expect more money for something your already paid to do is just stupid.

What do you do as a Hooter's girl?

I know they serve food, wait, bartend, host, etc. , but are there any other duties that they have like having to dance, have contests, or do birthday songs, etc.??

..on part of the bill? I haven't been stiffed often, but it happens to the best of us. Why? because some people do not agree with tipping.
In countries where it is unnecessary to tip, the cost of maintaining the hourly employment is inflated and passed on to the customer through the food and bev. cost. This means is that in order to pay servers and bartenders the money they are used to making, we would all have to pay about double for the food and drink. As it is, servers are motivated to do a good job for each customer, because the customer is quite literally paying them for the effort. Server paychecks are laughable, they are usually barely enough to cover taxes. Bartenders fair slightly better, depending on where they work. Still both are dependent on customers paying them for services rendered. The tip is a part of the bill, if you don't want to pay it, go to a self service restaurant, don't take advantage of a service you won't pay for. Why do people fail to understand this?

Do fast food restaurants offer more convience, ease, and quickness? Do traditional restaurants offer a more variety of choice of foods and a more relaxed enviroment.
