Dining Out - July 2006

A person Walks into a food stub (the little stores you see at a food court at the mall), he or she orders pasta allfredo and a pizza. They are with their friend. She/he feels that friend gets treated better when the cashier/employee gives her a napkin and doesn't give them a napkin and a fork to go along with the order and charges them double what their friend's total was because the friend just orders a pizza. What would you do? ........later that night, she/he goes back to get revenge on this cashier because she/he feels that they were adding to the already sucky and stressed out life they have and tries to confront/pick a fight with cashier but dad stops her/him. Now this person is still angry and wants to do the same today.

a. picnic at the beach and watching the sunset
b. renting out a theme park and then going to a fancy restaurant for dinner.
c. trip to Paris for a night and going out for dinner and then lounging in a hotel suite (in paris)

Why are people so mean to the drive-thru workers at fast food places? I worked at Jack in the Box and I was nice but the customers would go as far as throwing things at me. I was just wondering if anyone has ever been mean to an employee and why?

My daughter heard of a NYC McDonald's that is pretty upscale, if you can use "McDonald's" and "upscale" in the same sentence. We will be in Manhattan next week, and she would like to go there for her birthday, but I can't find anything out about it on the internet. Any ideas or info? Thanks!

I am looking for a place where there is dancing and moderate eating...like I see on tv where couples go and the music is fantastic like jazz or something and p[eople are just dancing around the tables and there is a small dance floor..a quiet place where you have to dress up and you can relax and listen to the music or dance with ur man??

If certain subject matter (snot, etc.) is inappropriate conversation during a meal, why on earth would anyone just start blowing their "snoz" while people are eating? Especially in upscale restaurants. I have never understood why you wouldn't excuse yourself and go to the bathroom. Besides, you should certainly want to wash your hands afterwards. Geez!
