help!! i dont like ipods but all my music is on itunes. what else can i get??

My sister has an iPod Nano and ever since she's got it, we've had problems with iTunes. It would either not recognize her iPod, delete all her songs, or freeze up out of nowhere. We've reinstalled it many times before but it still continues to be completely stupid. I for one hate iTunes and will never use it myself, but I have to help her out when something happens. We have a program which finds viruses called Symantec Antivirus. During the past couple of days, it has found a virus and the source of it was from iTunes. Is this the first time this has ever happened to anyone or has anyone else seen this before? I just need to know if this can be fixed or if i'm going to need to find another program that will work with her iPod or some homebrew program or something. Someone please help me so I can rid this computer of this problem.

I'm not into electronics, but I really can't see one. I looked on Wal-Mart.com, and it seems like an Ipod is an MP3 Player sorta. I need to buy an Ipod for Christmas, but if an MP3 Player will do the same thing for less money, then that's the way I want to go.

I couldn't copy files to the mp4 player more than 200MB of files. It is actually a 8GB player.

what do you guys think i should get: a new pimpin' black and gold plan b sheckler board, or the new ipod nano 4gb? i've been thinking about this for a long time (like two weeks) and still can't decide. what sould i get? this is what the board looks like:

Only 1 earbud works. The other one is completely in tact as far as I can tell, but won't play anything. Is there any way to fix it so I can hear it on both?

i have a ipod nano and i was using it and it just froze. the light wouldnt turn on and it wasnt moving. i left i alone and after about an hour it turned off by its self. then when i tried to turn it on i wouldn't. i have tried everything to turn it on but i just wont. it said on itunes that nothing was going on with it, then i got the red x screen and it said to go to itunes support site ,i did that and got nothing that cud help
i restored itunes,then irestored my whole computer to factory settings and re downloaded itunes. iwas able to restore my ipod but then it shut off so i unplugged it and plugged it bac k in and now its doing the same thing nothing

I everyone, I'm adding about 120 songs to my ipod right now, It's been 15 minutes and it's only on the 25'th song! Why is it so slow? My ipod is 30 GB's, And it has 2 GB's left, And i'm adding 1.2 GB's of music right now, Is Low memory the cause of this slow transfering?

I am thinking of buying my first Ipod which will be a 2gb Ipod Nano. I don't know much about digital music. Whenever I have bought MP3 players before I have been confused by file formats and DRM. Does Ipod work with all file formats (i.e. can I download music from any music store, copy my CD collection onto it etc?) Thanks for any assistance. couple of messages. One says, "Unsupported Media Type," (what does that mean?)...and when I try to put "songs" from my library unto the MP3 Player it says: "The Disk Cannot Be Written To Because It Is "Write" Protected. Please Remove The Write Protection From The Volume drive F:" OK. How do I do that??? I know that my "Flair" MP3 Player will work on my system because I have TWO of them the same and the other one works just fine. (Loading and Unloading Songs to It that is.) HELP PLEASE!!!
