Friend gave me ipod. If i plug into itunes will it work?

My friend is giving me his i pod. It is the neon blue nano. I have the oldest version of the nano. If i plug in the new nano will it transfer all of my song onto it?

Yes, if you have the songs downloaded onto Itunes and you sync the new ipod onto the library, then the songs will sync onto the ipod. Unless you have a very old version of itunes, then you must download a newer version, and then sync.

if the ipod has not been authorized with your computer yet, it will ask before replacing the songs.
