I bought 2 MP4 players from the US - in both of them MP3 music files go corrupt beyond 400 MB. Each MP4 player has capacity of 4 GB.

I have an iPod mini that holds a 1,000 songs. I want a new iPod that holds more but I don't know which one to get. I like the touch but it doesn't have great battery power and is a lot of money. The classic is just not as cool as the touch but holds a lot more and can last longer.

The I-pod generation dont buy music from record shops. They download music in bulk as mp3 format (poor quality sound compared to cd) oftern without paying a penny.
Is the poor quality of MP3 killing the music? &
will more record shops close down?
When did you last buy music from a high street shop?

i just orered another ipod shuffle because the one i bought before didn't come with a dock... and neither did this one. do i have to order the dock seperately? it doesn't even look like one fits in the case. all that came with it both times were the usb cord, headphones and a little plastic stand.

This is the second time it's happened. I don't pull on the headphones at all when I wrapping it up or anything. I only get sound out of the right ear unless I press the headphone jack to one side of the iPod really hard.

How can I fix this? Do I just need to pull a tab outwards in the iPod? Or how else?

I don't want my iPod to be reverted back to factory settings. I just want the songs on my iPod to be put onto my laptop.

I want to have the same tracks on my laptop as my desktop.

Can it be done?

I am concerned that if I continually replace my outdated iPods that I am using up digital rights to the music I buy on iTunes. Is this a real concern and what can I do to avoid this problem?

I've given myself a budget for a new music system of around £100, what's the best I could get for that?
I'm just looking for something with pretty good sound quality and maybe has sockets for extensions like a turntable or ipod dock, bigger speakers.

i've had it for a while and now when i go to plug it in to the usb port. i go to my computers and select the drive its in. then it says that it has to be formated so i click yes to format it (it had a warning saying if i format it that it will delete all files on my mp3 player) so i went ahead to format it but it says it was unable to complete the format. so now my computer won't recognize it anymore and all my songs have been deleted from my mp3 player.

the mp3 player i have is called: Creative Zen Nano Plus (1GB)

We have a coworker who listens to music throughout our shift. No problem, it helps ease the boredom. Thing is, his headphones are awful and so is his hearing -- I can actually hear HIS music over my own and we're nearly 10 feet apart!

Rather than launch an unpleasant confrontation, we've decided to give him a better set of headphones that won't include all the noise. :) I'm looking for suggestions on a decent headset, lower in price, that can keep the sound going to his ears but not the rest of the room. Any suggestions?

I've just been given an ipod as a gift, and have tonnes of songs on casette tapes that I'd like to 'move' if possible onto my ipod. I don't know the titles of some of the songs, so can't look them up on the internet. I know how to get songs off CDs onto an ipod, but not casettes. Can anyone advise?

I recently received a Powerbook from a friend. On there, he has about 2500 songs that I want. How can I put those songs onto my Windows formatted Ipod, while keeping the music that is on my Ipod now?

A friend of mine just spent around $400.00 + on an Ipod Nano, I asked her what made the "nano" $400 and what feature's it has that other cheaper MP3 players may not? She said, that it was made of metal and not plastic and that since APPLE came out with it first that it was superior to the "other" cheaper models.. It DOES hold 2000 songs but, what else can it do? I'm curious if it's just a brand name or it it really is better>>. Also, I have an MP3 player capability on my Samsung Verizon phone would that work about the same way as the NANO, on a smaller scale.. Could I plug/play my phone through my car stereo... ? It's an older phone...Thanks..
