you can get a usb turntable which can plug into your pc. it comes with software to convert your records to mp3 then you just burn to a cd. audacity is one program that does it

I think *most* modern home computers could convert audio (from a LONG PLAY record -- vinyl) to a music file, then "burn" it on to CD for you. My Father does lots of it.

You would need an LP player and a cable that connects it to your sound card. You could do it with a microphone, but the sound quality would not be as good.

You may also wish to investigate a software filter or setting to get out some of the noise that LP is prone toward.

what do you mean by IP's?? oh I gotchya - LP's - yes there are several software programs that can do that for you - check out on line and any local computer store to find out which one is best for you!!
