i just found out that we dont need itunes or any software to put music in our ipod players all you have to do?

is this, plug in your ipod to pc and then go to the (start menu)button click (my computer) than click on removable disk or the name you named your ipod. and just drag songs in it or if its a video ipod than drag movies and stuff. BUT my question is if i do this and not use any itunes or any other software will that mess up or harm my apple ipod? please help me!

I don't understand? I did what you said. I clicked on my iPod and all I had was 4 folders: Contacts, Calendars, Notes, and Photos. How did you save songs into that? Please reply to me, my email is [e-mail]. Thanks :D
