Pawnshops will give you a fraction of the item's worth, as they have to turnaround and make a profit on a low price.
Your best bet would be to check out your local Craigslist. See what others are posting their Ipods for. Also see people who are asking for Ipods in the 'wanted' section. Then you can post your own negotiable price. That's how I bought one for my daughter last year and both parties were satisfied.
Oh yes, and Craigslist ads are FREE, unlike Ebay.
I hope this is helpful.

You are not going to get a good price at a pawn shop. They may give you $50, if they are feeling generous. I am afraid that Ebay is going to be your best bet.

I'm guessing $50.
Pawn shops suck... they offered my friends sister $50 for a $2,000 ring.

You should try craigs list. I put out ads for my xbox repair services on everything and the only responses I ever get are from craigs list or the recycler.

Go for kijiji.... 45 is a fair price, but if you are patient you can possibly get 50 for it on kijiji for someone who wants it to jailbreak it and use it for the wi-fi and apps, etc....
