anyone have an ipod classic?

Ive alway been a sony mp3-player user before, cos the sound is good on it. Hows the sound on the ipod..also can you play mp3 files on it, or do u have to convert all ur music to aac format?

The sound on the iPod is fantastic, in my opinion. There may be others who disagree, I don't know, but I've never been dissatisfied. And as long as the mp3 files are on your computer, yes. But you can't just save a music file to, say, Windows Media Player, because it won't recognize it as a "song".
