Is QUAD stuff just a failed Seventies thing, or is it still embraced by some people?

It seems like a good idea, and as a small kid I remember listening to my oldest Brothers true Quadraphonic set-up in the Eighties and I remember it sounded very cool. He had several Quad players, including a turntable, reciever, open reel and even a eight track unit, all set up for Quad. I think it was all SONY stuff, and he had a ton of albums in QUad. Too bad he sold off all of his gear to a collector a long time ago, or I would have bought it myself!

So, I am wondering if anyone still manufactures a true Quad set up, and if anyone sells new music mixed for Quad, or is this stuff been pushed aside a long while ago.

It's seems like a cool idea that could still have some appeal as opposed to mere Stereo.

My boyfriend really enjoys kareoke.........he has a VERY elaborate system and its how we spend most of our weekend evenings......but his microphone is old and it keeps cutting out, even after the battery was replaced. So my question is, whats a good microphone for me to get him for Christmas? Thanks in advance.

I am thinking of getting an MP3 player for Christmas. I don't want one too expensive. How many songs can be put on a regular basic one?

I've been using MP3s for years and years. All my CDs are on MP3 and ever since the early days, I've never liked using ID3 tags.

I've now got iTunes which is great but it doesn't like my MP3s because they haven't got ID3 tags!

Is there a program that adds them automatically?! I really don't want to manually type in over 500 albums worth of information!!

:o((

Someone told me that the Ipod's battery can normally last for only 2 years. It means afterwards you should think of buying another new ipod. Is it true?

I found this website through www.youtube.com . This case looks pretty cool- just wondering what others thought about it and if anyone has one? I was thinking of getting some for my iPOD and for Christmas presents.
