I've been using MP3s for years and years. All my CDs are on MP3 and ever since the early days, I've never liked using ID3 tags.

I've now got iTunes which is great but it doesn't like my MP3s because they haven't got ID3 tags!

Is there a program that adds them automatically?! I really don't want to manually type in over 500 albums worth of information!!

Type ZORTAM into google and you'll be able to download a free program that'll help you out

There is a whole big list of them. Most will recommend their favorite programs. A lot of players are capable of adding ID3 Tags automaticaly also.

You can see which programs suit your needs as wel as which meet your system requirements. This site lists authentic programs that are non-adware/spyware. It is a reliable source.

MP3Tag. You can set it up to tag your MP3's based on filenames.

Open Source, new OSX has Ruby in it, use that.
