I want to have a "device" that I can program to block out particular phone numbers from entering my home phone. The numbers that I want to block are from indivduals and not from call marketers. I can't find such a device on the internet. I did have one when I lived in Europe several years ago. Remember I am talking about a household phone here and not a cell phone.

My wife and I are looking at getting a new cordless phone. We want a good one, but we're unfamiliar with the meaning behind mega/gigahertz. I know it's a measurement of power, but what does it get you by having more? Is it more range, clearer signal, both, or something else?

Also, what are the advantages of digital cordless phones?

ok, well some person is like calling my house but i don't know who it is (i don't have caller id). i think there's something that u punch into the phone to see the phone number of the person who is calling u. Do u know the number (or code, etc) for the phone so i can see who called me? (answers quickly need to know soon!)

My cell phone dropped in water (LG7000) . I have dried it out enough to be able to charge it, and dial numbers. But it is still damp inside, and would not go through.

It displays "Warning - Service not available".

How do I remove small plastic caps to reach the screws without damaging the Phone?

for some reason my landline phone has bad reception, I can hardly hear what the person im talking to is saying and they have the same problem. It echos the sounds in the room and squeals if you turn the sound up....I've tried three different makes of phone and they all do the same thing....aparantly its not a fault with the line..
