its properly a phone-bank...just don't worry about it! those numbers are caller-ID spoofing numbers, and are not indented to call back!

This is what whitepages.com show

(301) 392-8151 is Unpublished or Unavailable

Type: Land Line
Provider: VerizonLocation: La Plata, MD

So it is usually a bill collector or someone trying to sell you something. If were on the internet and did you fill out anything with your phone number say a survey. You may have someone from Florida call to you if you want a free vacation. The bill collectors phones when I call them back will never answer and disconnect like yours.

Anyway, some with Verizon provider is trying to call you.

Actually, according to this site :

http://www.fadetowhite.ca/blog/?p=163

that number does, indeed exist - and it's a telemarketer. Interesting blog piece about it. He mentions having to speak several times before hearing a reply. That's b/c the call is placed by an automated system that does not put a salesperson on the line until you have answered. So - that explains why you can't call them back. Have you actually answered any of the calls? Try answering one & waiting for someone to get on the line. Tell them to put you on their "Do Not Call" list. And in the meantime, go here :

https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx

That's the national Do Not Call Registry. It's free. It works.

I had that happen some years ago. But not 3 times a day. I can't recall what that problem was now. But i did call my local phone repair company and they explained what it was. So try that.
Good Luck.

If you go to AnyWho.com website and click on Reverse Lookup you will be able to put the phone # in (301) 3928151 and you can get the name and address of the caller. (It is: A. Marshall of La Plat, MD)

It is definently a Maryland area code. Probably a telemarketer or service provider. make sure you sign up for the do not call list.
