i have it narrowed down to a hard drive or a flip and shoot i have a gateway profile which has windows 98 second edition are both these camcorders compatable with my computer i am clueless we just got this computer a few months ago and i am still learning any info would be appriciated. ps i don't want a mini dvd though i don't want to buy the extras and were looking to spend betweeb 150.00 to 400.00 thanks for the help

I ordered a camera online and it says brand new on website.

this was cannon sd600..

i called to confirm my order and he says that the default battery life is only 15 mins and he can upgrade with additional $80 and he will give off $20.

i said no because my total limit is $275 and then he says - ok .. then he will do the adjustment to make it $275 and give discount of another $30 on batter...

i did not feel very comforable about that..what do u guys think

I have a samsung e700 and i want to get my pictures onto the pc ... the phone only has a infra-red and NO bluetooth, ive been to a couple of shops and all have got off them is that i should have had a USB cable included in the pack, which i didn't and that because my phone is an old model they no longer have said lead stocked.

maybe someone out there can help me by telling me what kinda USB to get, where i can get it or another method of getting the pictures off the phone and onto my pc

I want to transfers songs and video from iTunes to my iPod with multiple computers. If I put on "manually manage songs and files" in iTunes, will I be able to drag and drop songs/videos from any computer to my iPod and not lose my files? Thanks!

It used to be that you could plug in something and it didn't matter which pole went into which outlet hole in the wall. Now many plugs have one side slightly bigger than the other so it will only fit one way. Why is this if the current is AC and so it doesn't matter which plug goes into which hole?

I have had my phone for 6 months, it was working perfectly until 2 weeks ago. Here are the problems:
Turns itself off
Screen flashes white
Can't play sounds in multimedia (which worked before)
No sound when videos are playing
Camera quality going downhill - lines across screen, blurry pictures
I have taken very good care of my phone and there isn't one scratch on it. I haven't dropped it or got it wet. Please help!

I'm about to purchase a new TV. If I buy a widescreen TV, all of my standard DVDs will be tiny. That is one drawback. Another is that widescreen TVs of the same diagonal size are actually SMALLER. A typical 100" diagonal projector screen in 4:3 format is measured 60" by 80". The same 100" diagonal screen in 16:9 format is 7" wider, but 12" shorter which results in a 15% smaller viewing area. So basically, any widescreen TV I get will cost more, and have 15% smaller viewing area. Can anyone tell me why I should buy one? Unless I'm missing something, I'm just going to get a much larger 4:3 TV for the same money. That way, when something is in 16:9 format, it will be the same size as it would have been on widescreen TV.
