I want to transfers songs and video from iTunes to my iPod with multiple computers. If I put on "manually manage songs and files" in iTunes, will I be able to drag and drop songs/videos from any computer to my iPod and not lose my files? Thanks!

Yes, manually managing the files will result in only the files you manually add or take off changing.

You are able to do it but it's not a simple process. The easiest thing to do is download copypod (do a search on google) but you have to pay for that software. Otherwise plug your ipod into your pc and shut down itunes.Go to Windows Explorer and you will see your ipod listed as a drive (it should have your ipod name). Now you are also going to want to make sure that you are able to see hidden files and folders,in order to do this click tools>folder options and then click the second tab named 'view'.If you scroll down you will notice an option saying 'Show hidden files and folders' - make sure that it is selected. Click on apply and ok. Now browse to your ipod and you should see a folder saying ipod_control and within that sub-folder is a folder called music. It should then list a number of folders and if you double-click and open each folder you will notice mp3 files in there which is your music. The naming convention might mean that you will not know what song the file is,but at least you will have your music. You can then copy each file (ctrl + a to select all and then ctrl+c to copy) into a new folder on your hard drive. If you are not too technical or do not have time to rename the files again then copypod is your best bet. Good Luck.

itune library
backing up..
i know this is not so cool.
but this is the only way since.. itune is not intelligent enough to identify your music files when the path is changed. like when u move a file from your My Music folder to a subfolder in it. iTune cannot search for it automatically. So, it is no need to say what happens when u change ur PC. But, choose the organizing function which stores all the songs in your itune in a seperate folder and backing up that folder would make you easy. That folder is probably in the MyMusic folder as default. U can change the path
I guess.
Hope this helps.

Once you plug in your ipod you should set the warning as manually arrange file....
If the warning has been set then go to reset the warning in the options den you can manually add/remove the files...

TO add files from another comp drag the song and place it on the ipod icon in itunes
