Bought Nintendo DS Lite from UK website, but it was despatched from US, and the power pack (adapter) is for US power supply. If I buy a UK adapter, will it work with the US Nintendo model, or will it be incompatible?

2 things need to be the same for it to work. The UK adapter needs to fit into the same plug (obviously enough), and the output of the adapters need to be the same. It should say something like, "Output 9VAC 400mA (which means9 volts, alternating current and 400micro Amps)." The inputs won't match, obviously, but if the outputs match, you are good to go.

it will work once you have the correct power supply to charge it, we bought my sons a game boy advanced each in the states as they were half the price of here and they worked fine played all their games and stuff, hope that helps

yes it can work all away around the world if you have wifi. I have a secret. If you go into a city centre, most phone booths have wifi connected to it. you can play people for free! don't tell anyone else.xx
