I hooked up my new Sony HT-7000DH Home Theater (HT) System last night. This HT receiver has "HDMI Passthrough" so I routed separate HDMI cables from both the Direct TV HD Receiver and a DVD Player. One HDMI Cable then goes from the HT to the TV. Per the HT instructions I also routed Optical Cable from each of the components into the HT. Just to get the system working I used the included wiring. I plan to upgrade the wiring this weekend.

Problem: Whether watching HD TV or playing a DVD I have sound in the left front surround speaker and the subwoofer but no sound from the center speaker or the right front surround. I haven’t hooked-up the rear surround yet to minimize my confusion. I’ve reconnected the wire several times and the HT receiver displays that sound it routing to all of the front speakers but again it’s not. I’ve tried the various settings on the HT Receiver and I never get sound from the center or right.

Any thoughts?

I've read that the image stabilization is maybe not so great. Is that really true? And are there any other negative sides to this camera?

I have had a contract with Vodafone for 7 yrs, and am getting a bit tired with them. My last phone was Sony Ericcson P910. Liked it but in true honesty did not use it to its true business potential as im not really a business man. I know this is a little like asking the length of a piece of string question, i suppose im just looking for something a bit fresher and funkier and would be interested to see what you have to say about your own mobile phone (if you really think its cool) Cheers.

I've been thinking about getting an iPod to make sound recordings on but I'm not sure if they're any good. I know you can get pocket audio recorders but they use flash cards and can't store much. I need to get stuff onto my apple laptop easily. Thanks.

My computer is basically out of space on the hard drive, and I want to download more songs. I want to know how I can clear my ITunes library to make space for more songs, without having them deleted from my IPOD when I update it. I'm desperate!!

Why are handheld radios(FRS, CB, Amateur) antennas just one wire? How can that work to receive and transmit if it’s just one wire? I mean the antenna should be TWO wires, just like the antennas on the big stations, or the TV antennas. It should be a closed circuit((- and +) OR (- and ground)?).

That brings me to my next question:
I have a FRS radio. I used a TV antenna cable, and connected the radio wire to the inside wire of the cable. The cable goes up to my roof, which is only about 40 feet high, but did not work at all. If I go to the top of the roof with the radio on my hand the reception/transmission is great, HOW CAN I EXTEND THE SHORT FRS ANTENNA TO THE ROOF IN AN EFFECTIVE WAY, JUST LIKE IF I WAS UP ON THE ROOF WITH THE RADIO ON MY HAND???
