I've been thinking about getting an iPod to make sound recordings on but I'm not sure if they're any good. I know you can get pocket audio recorders but they use flash cards and can't store much. I need to get stuff onto my apple laptop easily. Thanks.

Sony DAT is the industry standard. But very expensive - might get a good price on ebay though

Hi Emma - it depends on what quality you want and how much you want to spend but this product is exceptional (though not cheap!)
