I'm going to be here (US) but I need to be able to call and recieve phone calls from my parents in Japan who live there incase of emergencies. And I have a few friends there too so it'd be nice if I could text them from here. Anyone know any cellphones that can do all that?

The instruction manual says it should be a solid amber color when charging and will turn green when completed, but mine just keeps blinking amber? Is this ok? If not, how do I change it?

My computer wont read my ipod nano. I plug it in but my comp wont read it. It says do not disconnect on my ipod but it doesnt charge or anything....ive tryed a lot of things to resolve it but it still doesnt work. Ive done everything on apples troubleshooting site also. Please help. Oh and is there a number i can call?

Ok, people, if you play video games, I could really use your help on a topic that i've been thinking a lot about lately. Is it just me or do video just unoriginal and sucky now. I think that they are just realistic because they are obligated to be, and sadly the game suffers many casualities. Fun is at the top of that [long] list.
I am 23 now so here me out people. I grew up durring an age where games like Castlevania, Mega Man, and Zelda were just surfacing. These games prove that they have staying power. I mean will we even know what these game are like 10-15 years or even remember them? The reason is that kids don't understand how we got to where we are now in terms of video gaming graphics. It's unfortunate that they missed the evoulution. Although, I missed the evolution of gaming in the 70's. Regaurdless, I wouldn't trade growing up in the late 80's for anything because we that these games had something about them...fun factor. Let me know what you think...

Ok, I've had this problem with all different companies. At first my new phones seem to work great but not long after it seems like they are always dropping calls. I don't think its necessarily the network because many times in the middle of my conversation my signal drops to nothing and my call ends and as soon as I close my flip and re-open I have 4 bars....seriously...WTF?!!! I even had one one company that was like clockwork....on long calls, just about every half hour my signal would drop off to nothing.

Is this a problem with my phone because of age or something else or is this something the phone companies do because their towers are overworked?

I'm really looking for a technical reason why, not guesses please.
