I have an IPOD Shuffle and when I plug it into the USB Port it blinks amber? Is it supposed to blink or not?

The instruction manual says it should be a solid amber color when charging and will turn green when completed, but mine just keeps blinking amber? Is this ok? If not, how do I change it?

its normal, it charges while u plug it on the pc. blinking orange means it charges,single green means its fully charged
