well, that question has been asked almost a trillion times on different message forums online. i have to say if you go buy consumer approval at E3, then ps3 falls behind not only the xbox360, but the nintendo Wii also. ps3 is going to be the most expensive console of the three, using new technology that is, to say the least, unstable. the 360 and Wii are using regular old HD-DVD's something that has been tested and performs remarkably well... sony's use of Blu-Ray technology is a risky gamble, but something that could pay off in the end.

also. there has been talk on online capabilities for both the 360 and the ps3, and no where, in any of sony's press releases or even at E3, has there bee mentioned any online gaming capabilities for the ps3.... xbox live already has a huge following from its original console, even if sony got an online gaming system up and running before the release of the ps3, it would still have many MANY bugs to work out, and all the while they are working on it, the Microsoft Live system will keep running smoothly. so to say is the ps3 worth it? maybe 6-8 months after initial release.... on the day they toss em in stores? no way. go pick up an xbox 360 premium package and play your games while you wait for sony to get the bugs out of their blu ray discs

not really... the only good game for it is final fantasy and that is for the 360 to... come up with any argument and i can defeat it...like... the blu-ray discs hold more-barely more than a hd-dvd, witch the 360 will be supporting in a couple of months...the graphics r better..yeah but they're is no use in having them there when they're not going to be put into use...faster...not really and if so only by a bit more and what does .02 seconds make?
