The tv is a Daewoo with A/V 1 thru 3 hook ups. The cable box is a cox communications motorola receiver.

Yes, you need an external tuner as the source, e.g., a VCR or DVD player.

That all depends on whether you have a second video source to apply to one of the 3 inputs. With a cable box, it's hard, but do-able. I would tell you how to do it, except I would be duplicating the efforts of the people who wrote your manual. If you don't have your manual, get one. If you do, and it doesn't explain it well enough, then you should have spent some more money on your tv. Daewoos are junk.
