I'm using Ripit4me onto DVD decrypter that sends it to DVD shrink. i'm suppose to burn with IMGburn.

I currently trying to backup some of my personal dvds, one was so scratched up, I decide to back them all up, which is legal since I already own them.

In using absolute cell references, how do you keep absolute reference if you insert/delete a row or column? here's the situation:

i have an absolute reference to a cell on another worksheet, which i continually add data to by inserting a new row at the top of the sheet, where i want to have my most recent data. from a different worksheet, i use an absolute reference to that first cell (the one where i just inserted the most recent data). however, upon inserting a new row, the refernce to that cell now points to the cell that got bumped down from inserting the new row. i want to have an absolute pointer to that first cell at all times, no matter how many rows i insert.

does anyone know how to do that?

I just got a new comp with Vista. I know the issues with Vista and, generally speaking, I'm ok with that. However, I have back up discs from my XP system that my new system is NOT reading. This means over 5000 mp3s as well as all my digital pics and Word documents.

When I put the discs in the drive, the drive/system stalls and its as if it's reading a broken record. It occassionally crashes my comp.

Anyone have any suggestions or has seen this before? Is there a way to easily network my two towers together so I don't have to worry about discs? (Yes, regular program discs work perfectly)

Actually I am using Windows XP professional and have created only partition in my Hard Drive while loading operation system but now I want to create an other partition in the same HDD in which XP is running and also want not be lost my operating system. (there is a command in xp by running by run program a window will open like ghost{I am missing that command})

I got a virus on my pc and XP is not running anymore.. i have two OS running on my system.. 98 is working fine. but xp does not start up.. when i start xp it asks for a scandisk and as soon as the scan is done my system restarts.. i do not have a cd drive .. so is there anyway i can reinstall xp without using a CD?

I get "(not responding)" at least two or three times a day, every single day, whether I'm trying to open my trash folder (offline), trying to open Word Perfect (offline), trying to get to my home page (online), you name it. I click on something (an icon or downsize button) and nothing happens. Nothing. And I wait and click again. Nothing. Then it says "(not responding)" and closes eventually and sends "error reports" to whoever.

I HAVE had my computer (2 years old) and also had my other computer (laptop, brand new) looked at by a computer expert. I don't share files or programs between the 2 computers and the main reason I got the laptop was because the other computer has so many error messages. He said they're fine.

So... wtf??? Anybody have any ideas?
