After loading Acrobat 8 I keep getting this information box indicating ACROBAT UPDATER is attempting to connect to Adobe to update the Updater (sic.). The box just hangs there and I have to kill Acrobat to get the box off my screen. I would imagine it can't communicate through my companies firewall or something else is blocking the update process. Help says one can just disable the Updater but there is no place to select options in the update the Updater box (different than Updater?).

I'm opening a new business. The software I've decided to "go with" has not been tested with Vista, no software out there for this type of business has been tested with Vista....YET....but for all intents and purposes we'll say it isn't Vista Friendly.....Can I ....or rather, HOW do I get rid of Vista and get XP....The computers I'm using are right out of the box, from Dell, they came with Vista...I hate the thought's of sending them back, that'll be such a hassle. I have no idea how to do this. Any help and/or advice would be appreciated.

I have a laptop with Windows Vista, it came with Microsoft Office 2007, but no Outlook (which I need). I am looking to buy Outlook and install it. Is Outlook 2003 compatible if all of my other applications are 2007? Or do I have to use Outlook 2007? Thanks.

I have converted a mp3 file to .wav so that windows can play it on startup. But it is not played for full duration which is 1min 10 sec.
is there any method to make windows play full music at startup.
someone told me to place the file in startup folder but in that case my music player (Real player) plays it ,not the windows.
Plz. tell me how to do this.
Do i need to tweak the registry for this.

For instance, even when right-clicking and choosing 'open in new window', I have to hold control. Even though I've set certain sites to 'always allow pop-ups' I have to hold control to get things to open on those sites too. Yet on my home page, there is an advertising pop-up that manages to get through without fail!

I need to be able to create a banner to advertise my business and the number for it on websites. If it would also allow me to easily create buttons and so forth for people purchase items that would be great to. Not sure what type of graphics software to get for this.
