My little sound icon is gone missing of Taskbar if fact its does not seem to be on my computer at all HELP ME?

thanks moose but i have tried that all ready it just says that it is not installed?

Very simple to recover:

Control panel
Category view
Sounds and audio
Adjust system volume
Tick the Place volume icon in task bar box
