my AIM is being really wierd. it displays when people sign off, not when people sign on. i can send messages to people when they are signed off and there is no messge that says something like: screenname is unavailble right know, or something like that. should i make a new screenname or wut?

I went on this site and downloaded a whole bunch of new items and furniture and after I installed it in the game, I went to my house and decorated one room with the furniture. I played the game after I was finished remodeling, but now it won't load the neighborhood! Everytime it loads up, it shuts off! I know my virtual memory is ok, so what is it? What can I do? I know there has to be something I can do because I have worked to hard on that neighborhood for it to f*** up like this. By the way, it's Sims 1, not 2.

I have a lot of flash files (swf files) on my computer. I have downloaded about 5 different converters in hopes of putting them on my IPod Video. None of them work. Does anyone know a FREE one that works really well?

The booklet/catalog has pictures and a small caption. Its about 10 pages long. I need to send this to someone else, but they can only receive it in pdf. They need it for editing a proofing. Is there a way I can transfer my "works" document to adobe "pdf"?

i wanted to get some windows updates, so i downloaded the three 'updates installer' items it states are neccsary on the site. I CANCELLED it AFTER it had downloaded them but before it INSTALLED them.
the downloads include the "windows genuine advantage validation tool" and i now want to remove all three items as i decided 'if they're nothing wrong why fix it?'

surely as they have only been downloaded (and NOT installed) i can remove them without doing a system retore?

as they are not installed they cannot be removed using "remove programs" tool, and even if they were you can only remove the installer (not the validation tool).

Please help!

I can't find yahoo Beta listed on add/remove or in my start or program menus. If I switch back to regular yahoo and then try to get Beta again it won't let me reinstall. I like the Yahoo beta but I really like having a magnfier so handy. I don't like the one that comes with Windows

Whenever i have a file that has a AVI file in it, explorer crashes. A Error report comes up, i click dont send, it crashes and in 2 seconds everything is back to normal. I have the latest DivX update, and SP2. I have looked at many forums and still have no clue. Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this.

Another easy one I'm sure but! How do I load my player from my computer with music in windows media. I mean, how do I change music into m.p.3.files.
Just bought one of these things to transfer data from course work to home and my nephews are asking me if they can listen to some of the music Ive got.
